1. What is a fundraiser public profile page?

A fundraiser public profile page is your customized fundraising home page. It contains information about yourself or your organization, activities (any past and ongoing project, event, campaign and/or petition listings along with their respective outcomes), your volunteer network, and volunteer recruitment announcements. Your profile page is also the page where volunteers can join your network via the link "Join Me". Donors can also make contributions from your profile page by selecting a project or a fundraising campaign of interest.

2. Do I need a public profile page? If yes, how do I create my public profile page?

Yes, any fundraiser must have a public profile page to use our service. Fundraising public page is created when you sign up with GlobalVodo at http://www.globalvodo.com/ru-registration.php. At sign up, you choose your own profile page name and fill in the field: "Your public profile". Your home page name cannot be edited once your account is created.

3. How can I have my fundraising profile page listed on GlobalVodo home page?

Very simple! GlobalVodo offers a variety of membership plans that are available at http://www.globalvodo.com/plan.php. Any fundraiser with a plan that is marked "Featured" in the plan chart will be listed on GlobalVodo home page.

4. What is fundraising activity page?

Your fundraising activity page lists in chronologic order your past and ongoing projects, events, campaigns and/or petitions (if any). Donors can contribute to your projects and/or campaigns from this page. Volunteers and donors within your own network can share your activity page link with their friends, colleagues and family to raise awareness of your fundraising campaigns.

5. How do I set up projects, events, campaigns and petitions?

Setting up projects, events, campaigns or petitions is simple and quick. When logged in your fundraiser account, click on the tab "Settings" in the right navigation, select one of the above, fill out the corresponding online form and submit. Your entry will be then available in the network and on your activity page.

6. Does any petition come with a fundraising option?

Yes. GlobalVodo offers you the possibility to raise funds while running petitions within the network. This is specific to GlobalVodo. You can set a fundraising goal for your petition at the time of creating your petition.

7. Does any event or campaign come with a fundraising option?

Yes. GlobalVodo offers you the possibility to raise funds while running onsite or online event or campaign within the network. This is specific to GlobalVodo. You can set your events or campaigns fundraising goals at the time of creation.

8. How many projects, events, campaigns or petitions can I run at a time?

Unlimited!

9. Can I change my project or campaign fundraising goal or deadline?

No. Once a project or campaign gets underway, neither the fundraising goal nor deadline can be edited.

10. What are needed to run a project?

You need 2 things: a project description and project expectations, i.e. when funded what would be the project outcomes or results.

11. How do I create widget for my projects, events, campaigns or petitions?

You can create a widget by logging to your account and click the tab Widget/Create Widget. Then select the project, event, campaign or petition for which you would like to create a widget. Once your widget is created, it will be instantly (green square icon with the letter G printed inside) posted on your project, event, campaign or petition page. Any GlobalVodo user can then copy your widget code and share over internet. You can edit your widget description at any time.

12. How do I recruit volunteers in the network?

There are 3 ways to recruit volunteers within the GlobalVodo Network.

• Registered volunteers can directly join your network at any time by clicking the "Join Me" link (located at the bottom right corner of the green banner) on your public profile page. However, when non registered users click on the "Join Me" link, they will be prompted to register. Once they successfully complete their registration, they will be listed in your network.
• You can invite registered volunteers to join your network at http://www.globalvodo.com/volunteer-listing.php. When your invitations are accepted, they will be listed in your network.
• You can also recruit volunteers for specific ongoing projects, events, campaigns or petitions. You can set up your volunteer recruitment by simply selecting your project, event, campaign or petition of interest and complete the recruitment online form. Once completed, your projects for which recruitment announcements are set will be listed on your public profile page under the page "Recruiting".

13. Can I directly communicate with volunteers and donors within my network?

Yes. GlobalVodo has developed an advanced and user-friendly instant messaging technology, GVodo Messaging Service (GMS), to enhance communication between you, your volunteers and donors. GMS helps bridge the existing gap between fundraisers, organizations, volunteers and donors. With GMS, you can run email campaigns, send personalized emails and newsletters to your volunteers and donors in one click. GMS emails and newsletters are instantly delivered in users’ respective GlobalVodo Inbox for their convenience and practicability.

14. Does GlobalVodo charge any fees?

Depending on your membership plan, GblobalVodo only charges a small fee to cover credit card processing fees and handling on any successful donation. GlobalVodo fees are listed per plan and are available at http://www.globalvodo.com/plan.php. Within your account, you can track in a very transparent way all fees we charge on processed donations.

15. Does GlobalVodo have free sign up for fundraisers?

Yes. GlobalVodo offers free sign up. Check out our free account details at http://www.globalvodo.com/plan.php. You can at any time upgrade your free account to a Premium account and enjoy great savings and more features.

16. Do I have to be in the US to open a GlobalVodo account?

No. Regardless of where you live in the world, you can open any of our authorized 3 accounts: Fundraiser, volunteer and donor accounts. For convenience, you can open all different 3 accounts with the same email address. GlobalVodo is worldwide (as the name suggests it), hence location does not matter.

17. How do I transfer the funds I raised to my bank account?

Very simple! You will have to send us a withdrawal request at your own convenience. We will process your request, and funds will be then safely transferred to your account via our secure network.

18. Do I need to have a US bank account to transfer my funds?

No. Regardless of where you bank or your bank location, your funds will be securely transferred to your bank account upon receipt of your withdrawal request.

19. Who can raise money on GlobalVodo?

Fundraisers range from but not limited to Non profit organizations, political organizations, individuals, small & medium-sized businesses, schools, Colleges, Universities, student organizations, Corporations, etc.

1. Is GlobalVodo volunteer account free of charge?

Yes. Volunteer account is free and will always be free. GlobalVodo will never charge you a dime because you are dedicating your time and energy for a cause that is important to you.

2. How do I create a volunteer account?

Very simple! Fill out our volunteer registration form in no time at http://www.globalvodo.com/volunteer_sign_up.php Once you have been successfully registered, we will assign you a personalized and unique public profile page.

3. What is a volunteer public profile page?

Your volunteer public profile page summarizes your activities within the GlobalVodo Network. It contains information about yourself, project and campaign listings, petitions, and funds you have raised on behalf of your favorites organizations or fundraisers (i.e. the ones you have joined). Donors can also make contributions to fundraisers' projects and/or campaigns from your profile page.

4. How do I join a fundraiser’s network?

There are 3 ways to join a fundraiser’s network.

• When logged into your account, you can join a fundraiser’s network at any time by simply clicking the "Join Me" link (located at the bottom right corner of the green banner) on his/her public profile page.
• You receive an invitation from a fundraiser to join his/her network. When you accept the invitation, you will be listed in his/her network.
• You can also join a fundraiser's network when he/she is recruiting for specific projects and/or campaigns by simply clicking on the tab "Recruiting" on his/her public profile page and join his/her network.

6. How do I help raise awareness of my fundraiser’s projects and/or campaigns?

GlobalVodo has developed an advanced and user–friendly instant messaging technology, GVodo Messaging Service (GMS) that you can use to send instant messages to friends/fundraisers within your own volunteer network at GlobalVodo. GMS emails are instantly delivered in users’ GlobalVodo Inbox for their convenience and practicability.

You can also use our "Reach out to Friends" feature to send instant messages to friends, colleagues and family outside the GlobalVodo network to run successful email campaigns and raise more funds online for projects you have set a fundraising goal. You can share your fundraisers’ projects, public profile pages, widgets and/or your own volunteer page over the internet (emails, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, GVodo, etc) to spread the word around the world, bring in new donors, increase donor loyalty and advance fundrasing campaigns. Volunteering has never been that easy before. GlobalVodo now makes it simple and easy but powerful for everyone to volunteer regardless of their experience.

7. How do I create my own volunteer network?

Volunteers can create their own network of friends what we call “Fellow Volunteers”. Your friends simply need to click on the “Join Me” link (located at the bottom right corner of the green banner) on your public profile page to get listed in your network. Your friends must have a volunteer account to join your network.

8. How many friends or Fellow volunteers can join my volunteer network?

Unlimited!

9. How many fundraisers’ network can I join?

Unlimited!

10. How do I communicate with friends within my network?

Simply use our instant messaging feature, GMS. See point 6 under volunteer section.

11. How do I communicate with fundraisers whose network I have joined?

12. How do I set fundraising goal on behalf of fundraisers I have joined?

When logged into your volunteer account, click the link ongoing projects under the Tab Fundraising Summary. In the list, select a project you would like to set a fundraising goal for. You will be prompted to enter the $ amount you would like to raise on behalf of the creator of the selected project. Once you complete that form, your fundraising goal will be instantly posted on your volunteer public profile page under the tab “Fund Us”. Donors and/or friends can then contribute to your page; and you can track your fundraising activity success in real-time.

13. How do I track my fundraising activities?

Your volunteer account comes with free instant reporting feature that allows you to track in real-time all donations coming out of your fundraising efforts. You can also track your fundraising progress or activities on your volunteer public profile page.

14: How do I get credit for my fundraising efforts?

For instance, if you set a fundraising goal for a project, and when donors directly contribute to that project from your volunteer public profile page or click on the project link in email sent via our "Reach out to Friends" feature and donate, you will get the credit for their donation.

15. Can I donate to projects or campaigns within the network?

Yes, but you will need to create a free donor account. For convenience, you can use the same email address you have used to sign up for your volunteer account to create your donor account. We make it so simple for any user to switch from one account to the other by using the same email address.

16. Can I raise fund on behalf of fundraisers I have not joined?

No. You can only raise funds on behalf of fundraisers or organizations you have joined.

17. Can I create a project or run a fundraising campaign as a volunteer?

No. Only fundraisers can create and/or run fundraising campaigns.

18. How often can I raise fund in the network?

GlobalVodo offers a unique and exciting volunteering platform available on the web today. We make it very simple for any volunteer to raise funds without borders all year-round. Whether you are on the plane/train, riding a bus, at the beach, or on vacation, volunteering or fundraising never stops running at GlobalVodo.

1. How safe is it to donate through GlobalVodo Network?

Donating through GlobalVodo Network is safe and secure. All transactions through GlobalVodo are carried out in a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) session, hence, safe and secure. Your credit/debit card and personal data are safe and are never stored in our databases or servers. Secure Sockets Layer software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure online transactions. SSL software encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet. SSL prevents data theft and protects private information from being disclosed to third parties. GlobalVodo is dedicated to ensuring its members safe and secure transactions.

2. How do I track my contributions in the network?

When you make your very first contribution in the network, we will email you instructions to access your donor account. Within your account, you can track all contributions ($ amount donated, to whom? When? Donation Status, etc) in one convenient place. You will never forget again what organizations or fundraisers you have donated to, when you have made that donation, and the amount you donated. We make it simple and very convenient for you with our instant donation reports. You can track your detailed donations per day, month and year. Our instant reports also serve as receipt and can be used for tax purposes if any.

3. Can I donate outside the GblobalVodo Network?

No. Donations to any project and/ fundraising campaign listed on globalvodo.com must be legally done within the network.

4. What should I do if I have ever been asked to donate outside the GlobalVodo Network?

If you have ever been asked to donate bypassing GlobalVodo, consider this as a scam. Scams are treated seriously and reported to law enforcement. Please report this to us immediately along with any details by simply clicking Contact Us at the bottom of any page.

5. Besides donations, what other activities can I carry out within the network?

You can send invitations to friends, colleagues and family to join you and raise awareness, donate and/or spread the word about causes you have supported or care about using our advanced and user-friendly "Reach out to Friends" and/or "Invite Friend" features. You can also share your favorite fundraisers and/or organizations projects, campaigns, public profile page, and/or widgets over the internet (emails, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, GVodo, etc) and/or use the power of word-of-mouth to spread the word around the world, bring in new friends to support the same cause you are backing and help advance their campaigns. Supporting a cause has never been that fun before.

6. Can I volunteer within the network?

Yes, but you will need to create a free volunteer account. For convenience, you can use the same email address you have used to sign up for your donor account to create your volunteer account. We make it so simple for any user to switch from one account to the other by using the same email address.

7. Are contributions tax-deductible?

If you have donated to a US-based 501 c3 non profit organization, contributions should be tax-deductible. However, it is up to the organization to provide you with information for your tax purposes. We suggest that you contact the organizations to get the right information.

8. Does GlobalVodo ask for personal or sensitive information (email address, telephone number, password, login credentials, credit/debit card, bank account, social security number etc) in email?

No, GlobalVodo will never ask for personal or any kind of sensitive information in email. If you ever receive such request on our behalf, consider this as a scam and immediately report it to us for investigation.
